Protools no workie-workie

Saturday, February 2, 2008

My wife, Melisa, wrote a great new song that has been working very well at church on Sunday mornings titled, "The Likeness of You". She's been anxious to record her song, and even bought me Protools M-Powered for Christmas to improve my system. So far so good. We've been putting down ideas, and laying down keyboards and some guitars.

This morning, Steve-O, Bill, Melisa and I were set to do live drums at the church, and we had Steve's 002 all setup to rock-and-roll. The only problem is that Pro Tools just wouldn't cooperate with us.

So, we did what so many others have done. When the going gets tough, the tough go to Fry's Electronics to get some more gear! We'll reschedule next week, but you'll all have to wait another week longer to hear the demo.

Anyway, I've gotta go.....dinner is happening soon.
