PASADENA - Police will be holding a stoplight enforcement program throughout the city today, officials said.
The program will be carried out between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., police said in a written release.
The purpose of the operation is to reduce the number of crashes resulting from drivers running red lights, police said.
Funding for the red light enforcement program is being provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
