Atlanta Hail....

Sunday, March 16, 2008

You've got to check out pictures from my sister's place in the outskirts of Atlanta. They had some serious hail fall yesterday in a series of dangerous thunderstorms and tornados. Thank God that all of our family is safe after these storms. Check out the picture of the flowers. One of the hailstones looks about the size of a tennis ball!

Atlanta rocked by tornado

Saturday, March 15, 2008

Sheri (my sister) reports this morning:

It's a stormy weekend here in Atlanta - I've never heard it thunder for like 24 hours nearly non-stop. crazy.

My wife has a lot of family in the Atlanta area, but everyone is OK. The Georgia Dome had part of its roof ripped open! Crazy.

Update 11AM: Sheri called, and a tornado just blew over their house. She said they are in the clear now, but we were praying for their safety. Let's all pray that these storms calm down!
