Starbucks gets Wi-Fi right this time

Monday, February 11, 2008

Starbucks said Monday it will give customers that use its Starbucks purchase card two hours of free wireless access per day. After that, it will cost $3.99 for a two-hour session. Monthly memberships will cost $19.99 and include access to any of AT&T's 70,000 hot spots worldwide.

Yes, yes, yes! This is what customers have been clamoring for! I had TMobile Hotspot for a few months, but $30 a month to use the internet at Starbucks was far too expensive for me, and most people. This new deal with AT&T makes sense for the average person who wants to check their email while sipping on their beverage.
