When I first heard that song in the movie, it choked me up. One of the most beautifully written and composed songs I have ever heard. So profound in its simplicity yet so full of emotion that it's as if he is weeping the lyrics in a desperate cry for freedom from the overwhelming pain he feels at losing his love. Just...wow...

When I first saw Once in the theater, the scene where they play "Falling Slowly" together in the music store rocked my world. It was a flood of emotions that reminded me of times when a song "came together" with my bands, or co-writing with my sister....or you, Dr. S.
